How to design a book cover on a limited budget... Well, I bought the cheapest picture of Antelope Canyon by Christophe Testi I could find (FYI: Christophe made a fantastic photo of this canyon which was featured on the front page of National Geographic a few years ago... couldn't afford that photo, obviously :) and then I edited the heck out of it! Changed practically everything except the shape of the rocks (and I cheated a bit even there). Ready for the before and after?

I'm part of the awesome Fall In Love Give-away Hop at Reading ! If you want to win a copy of my book 'Shadow of Time', a paranormal romance set in Navajo Nation, then please enter below :)

All Hannah longs for is a nice and quiet vacation after her first year of teaching French at a high school. She joins her brother Ben for the summer in their mom’s log cabin in Arizona. There, she meets Josh again, Ben’s childhood friend from the Navajo reservation. The little boy from the rez has grown up fast, and Hannah can’t help but feeling more for him than just friendship.

But fate apparently has something else in store for her. And it’s not peace and quiet. Night after night, Hannah is plagued by strange nightmares about the past of Navajo Nation and terrifying shadows chasing her. They seem to come closer – and why is Josh always present in her dreams?

Sometimes, the past has a way of catching up with you.

Available in paperback & Kindle format from January 2013 - this is a pre-release give-away of one paperback copy of my book (open worldwide).

Fun fact: I won a hot air balloon trip through Holland (or Belgium... my choice :) by entering a writing contest. The topic was supposed to be mystical/spiritual, so I sent in a spiritual short story with a time-travel twist. A big thank-you to and Madou hot air balloon flights company for making me the winner! :)
